Position Summary:This position manages all QD direct installation requests by receiving and processing install and exchange work orders in a timely manner while communicating scheduled installations to internal and external customers.  In addition, this position is also responsible for providing ongoing support to the Call Center Department and to act in accordance with the Company’s policies to ensure the best possible service and support to our customers, distributors and service staff.  This position communicates with internal and external customers including QD Production department, QD sales department and direct customers.  This representative is required to maintain positive relationships with all distributors by thoroughly communicating on a daily basis.

Essential functions:

    • Answer Customer and Technician calls using ShoreTel telephone system
    • Troubleshoot basic equipment issues
    • Assist all Dispatchers
    • Schedule miscellaneous projects with the field and dispatch
    • Other duties as needed

Daily Operations:

    • Receive and process all new installation requests by creating customer accounts through AS400 and S2000 within 24hours of their receipt
    • Create needed work orders through S2000
    • Make all necessary phone calls to schedule all installs and exchanges
    • Maintain QD intranet for sales department as needed
    • Complete daily installation reports by branch to reflect scheduled installations, pending installs, exchanges, relocations, installation delays and shipping updates
    • Confirm and arrange product delivery
    • Confirm equipment ready dates and shipping dates with the Shop
    • Confirm ETA’s with Dispatcher and customers
    • Create new installation request for National accounts
    • Enter and maintain equipment on production prep board
    • Communicate incomplete install requests with management
    • Release held installs
    • Conduct necessary bid research
    • Produce reporting for installation delays

Minimum requirements:

  • Typing 55 WPM
  • Proficient knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Previous Call Center, dispatching experience and/or Projects scheduling experience
  • Flexibility to overtime, on call shifts and weekends.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, call center, sales team, and others
  • Good oral and written communication skills
