Title: Service Manager

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Forecasts labor needs, staffs for the work, schedules the work
  • Train service technicians on customer in service in maintaining equipment
  • Builds individual capabilities
  • Use productivity reports to ensure objectives are met
  • Builds relationships with customers, employees and sales staff
  • Coach and develop (ride along’s) to build a strong service staff
  • Ensure technicians keep company vehicle stocked and clean
  • Sets and measures productivity and service targets to drive accountability and execution
  • Teaches safe work practices (vehicle accidents, injuries)
  • Follow company guidelines and policies
  • Documentation of daily activity

Minimum requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years managing employees
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule for training purposes
  • Ability to travel is a plus
  • Good oral and written communication skills
