Position Summary:

This position is responsible for providing delivery of Office Coffee & Food Service products to our customers. Also required will be the maintaining of route equipment, sanitation expectations while growing the volume with new and existing accounts.

Essential functions: Route Driver

  • Interact professionally with internal/external customers
  • Building a strong relationship with existing customers while maintaining accounts on their designated delivery day
  • Arrive at the First Account by 7:00 am Daily
  • Maximize Sales Opportunities by building relationships and up selling product at every account
  • Solicit new Business via cold calling.
  • Maintain an accurate Inventory of product on the Delivery Truck
  • Stock and Rotate Inventory at each account using F.I.F.O
  • Clean & Maintain Equipment at each account and communicate equipment issues to the service Department as needed.
  • Ability to operate Hand Held & Route Delivery technology
  • Conduct EOM Monthly Truck Inventory and Warehouse Count and Reconciliation.
  • Communicate with Sales /Route Person Daily
  • Must be able to perform duties using hand truck
  • May include other duties as needed

Essential functions: Commercial Food Service Driver

  • Must have good knowledge of Forklift & Electric Pallet Jack & Lift gate
  • Audit Product vs. Load Sheet
  • Load Commercial Truck with Assigned Daily Route
  • Ability to complete DOT required Vehicle Pre Trip
  • Deliver all products to customer location timely and accurately
  • Must have High % of accuracy with paperwork
  • Have open communication with department head
  • May include other duties as needed
  • Must be available for Weekend Rota Schedule

Minimum requirements :

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Experience in Route Sales
  • Dress Code and Demeanor must be professional at all times
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Wage: $15-$17 – Hourly
